ColliesOnline.com is one of the greatest media sites out there for collie professionals.  It is also one of the heaviest visited collie sites online.  Set up as an online magazine, when you first travel to the home page you’ll encounter a beautifully designed 600 x 350 collie advertisement, akin to viewing a magazine cover.

Each successive adverstisement is also the same size, full color, and features beautiful collies.  Almost all of the ads feature a particular champion collie, promoting them, congratulating them, or giving them recognizement for their acheivements.  A few of the ads feature various collie organizations, rescue organizations, or specific kennels.  Collie Dog Owners and the Collie Shop has advertised on there before and is always pleased by the results of the advertisements.

After viewing the lovely ads (you’ll want to view as many as possible because they are so gorgeous!), you can then visit the contents section.  The contents hold the “guts” of Collies Online, and show special collie headlines, summaries of recent shows, and a listing of all advertisers for the week.  You’ll also be able to find a state by state listing of collie breeders as well listings of collie clubs by state.

While Collie Dog Owners is geared towards novice and pet collie owners, Collies Online is geared towards the professional enthusiast and show people.  All in all, I feel this the best quality collie site for professionals and breeders.
