This is my submission for the "Love is in the air" theme. This is our only boy (boy dog that is...we do have a boy cat lol) Carson and my Daughter Alix's rat Spice. Carson loves all things small and furry be they dog,cat or other. He refused to learn any obedience training when we first got him 5 yrs ago at age 3, UNTILL we brought out the pet mice we had at the time! Presto! Anything we wanted he would try! lol Cindi RainybankCollies1
My granddaughter Faith, with her faithful furry friend, Teddy. Where one goes, the other is sure to be. Kathie  This is an older photo, but I love it. ever see a 100 lb. doberman snoozing with his baby collie. Jennifer
These guys are Casey, my BIG 100 lb sable and white collie, and his little adopted brother Spencer. In spite of playing rough and having their differences, they really love each other a lot. Jaymz  Holly (tri) and Charlie Brown (sable) Casey
Coming out of Lurk mode to post my "love is in the air" This is my Niece Emma with my puppy Halle, Halle was 6 weeks old, this puppy had never held still since birth but the moment Emma picked her up she melted and Emma held her for over 1/2 hour! Emma is 5 and as petite and quiet as her brother and sister are robust and rowdy, she just wanted a puppy to snuggle and it really surprised me when Halle was the one to oblige her! Hylights  This is Reba and pup. It was taken several years ago but is one of my "favorites" I think it shows the love of mother and baby. Tracy
Best Friends....Savannah and Lizzie! TakodaCollies  Here is my boy Shiloh (mahogany sable) with my foster collie Hope. He is totally smitten with her, I mean really "in love", he refused to come inside out of the snow today, just so he could be with her, he was completely snow covered and it was hard to see him, we tried everything but nothing would pry him away from his love.... He gives her kisses, follows her around and I have to make him come to the front of the house (where his bowls are) just to eat dinner... AAAHHH Puppy Love....LOL! Aubree colliesNcandles

"Love is in the Air" (February 2005)

Everyone knows that a collie is one of the best friends anyone could have!  Therefore, this month the theme is all about l-o-v-e... corresponding with the lovey-dovey feeling that this short little month brings about, especially with Valentine's day sandwiched smack dab in the middle!
Photos feature collies posed with some of their best friends in the world.

"I've got the Blues" (January 2005)

This cold winter month, we'll be featuring those beautiful intriguing and not-too-well-known Blue Merle collies.

This is Cloud at seven weeks old. She is the first smoothie I ever bred..and the first blue merle. she now belongs to Judy Wolf of Wolf Manor collies in Michigan. Judy will hopefully be showing her later this year. Cloud will be 2 years old in May. Her mother is Freedom. Her sire is Cruise's sire Roo. Darlene   Here is my blue, Willow. Tundra

Brutus loves the snow and cold. Then again what collie doenst? Hes no show dog but he sure is everyones best pal. We consider him Blue Merle cause he does have a blue eye and if correct, doesnt the Blue Merles only get Blue eyes? Just what I have been told. Tim  Here is Ocean......Imported from Finland! Val

Penne (when she was feeling good) as my daughter says. This is my Penne...Isn't she cute? Cindi,Kayla and Penne!!  He is such a character. My Cairn says he's a terrier wannabe. At Mom's on Christmas day, he was carrying her potted plants all over the yard. Never tried to destroy'em. Just doing a lil' landscaping. Par...   This is Pennes brother Levi at 7 weeks...dont have any recent pics of him unfortunatly. Cindi

Wait I found a better one!! I knew a better one of Levi was here someplace!! lol Cindi  OK here is the last of my Blues! This is Paisley Penne's mom and Penne with part of my daughter Alix and the dog Charlotte in the background when Penne was about 3 or 4 weeks old I think.

Here is my girl Sterling for, I've got the blues. Mkitko Here is Ocean again. Her temporary name was of course....Meg...LOL....but since my niece is Megan, I didn't think that name would work So, since she is blue, I went with shades of blue....as in "Ocean Blue".....take into account the trip she had to take to get here, Finland to Canada.....I do believe there is an ocean out there somewhere that she had to fly over anyhow, the name just seemed to fit!
